Choose FromStart from the identifier or subject you know, then choose a Module for that Search type. Coverage and freshness depend on the selected third-party data source.
One Account, Integrated Access
IntegratedUserSearch handles access to 75+ integrated professional data sources, so users do not need separate accounts with each service.
OneScan
Force MultiplierOneScan fans one input across the data sources left selected. Its dynamic Credit cost is the sum of those selected sources.

Our Data Handling Commitment
We Handle It
One UserSearch account provides access to all integrated professional data sources, with access handled by UserSearch.
Cost Savings Passed to You
Our purchasing power enables us to negotiate favorable data access terms with these services, and we pass these cost savings directly to our customers.
Source-Attributed Results
Coverage and update schedules vary by third-party data source. Treat results as leads and corroborate time-sensitive findings.
Selective Bookmarking
Users can bookmark individual rows of results for reports and exports. Only these selective items are stored on our systems until you choose to delete them.
Account, Case & Search Controls
Use the controls documented in the current platform to manage account access, retained Case work and search history.
Two-Step Verification
Account settings include two-step verification as an additional sign-in control.
Private Mode
Private mode does not store search history. Use Forensic Mode when a search needs to be retained in a Case.
Case Bookmark Protection
A custom Case password derives a private key that encrypts that Case's bookmarks on the UserSearch server.
Lawful Use
Users are responsible for having a lawful purpose and following the Terms. UserSearch is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.
Important Boundaries
Password Knowledge
UserSearch does not hold the custom Case password. If it is lost, it cannot be recovered.
Search History Choice
Choose Forensic Mode to retain a search in a Case, or Private mode when that search history should not be stored.
Results Need Corroboration
Results are investigative leads. Corroborate important findings and do not treat Match Accuracy as proof of identity.
Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about UserSearch 2.0, its capabilities, privacy measures, and how it can enhance your investigation workflow.
What is UserSearch 2.0?
UserSearch 2.0 is our professional OSINT search platform — think of it as a single workspace for open-source investigations. The current release (v2.0.20) gives you 17 search types and their modules, plus OneScan, Bulk search, Cases, Forensic Mode and SargeBot, our built-in AI assistant.
How is UserSearch 2.0 different from regular search engines?
A regular search engine hands you web pages; UserSearch gives you specialist modules organised by what you're actually looking for, all under one account. Run a single identifier through OneScan and it checks your selected sources at once — and every result stays labelled with exactly where it came from, so you always know your source.
What types of searches can I perform?
Seventeen in all: Username, Email, Phone, People, Corporate, Cyber, Product, Chat Messaging, Public Forums, Picture, Cryptocurrency, Vehicle Lookup, Threat Intelligence, Wireless Device, Website Forensics, Breach Exposure and Court Records. Start with whichever fits what you've got, or run several and cross-reference the results.
Is UserSearch 2.0 compliant with privacy regulations?
You're responsible for using it lawfully — run searches for a legitimate purpose and corroborate what you find before acting on it. One important thing: UserSearch results aren't an FCRA consumer report, so they can't be used for FCRA-regulated decisions like employment, tenancy, credit or insurance. If you have specific compliance questions, we're happy to help — just reach out.
How accurate are the search results?
Think of results as strong leads rather than confirmed facts. 'Found' means we spotted an identifier on a site; 'Enriched' means there's extra detail attached. Any match-accuracy score comes straight from the data provider, not from us — so it's always worth corroborating before you rely on it.
Can I integrate UserSearch 2.0 with my existing systems?
One account gets you into all the integrated data sources without signing up to each service separately. A customer-facing API, webhooks, connectors and SSO aren't part of the documented setup yet, so if integration matters to you, get in touch first and we'll confirm what's possible before you build anything around it.
What security measures does UserSearch 2.0 implement?
You can switch on two-step verification, and if you set a password on a Case, that password encrypts its bookmarks on our server. We never hold that password ourselves — so your Case stays genuinely private, but it also means a lost password can't be recovered, so keep it somewhere safe.
Who typically uses UserSearch 2.0?
A real mix of professionals — corporate security teams, law enforcement, investigative professionals, cybersecurity analysts, fraud and AML specialists, digital forensics experts and intelligence analysts. Pretty much anyone who needs serious OSINT for legitimate, above-board investigations.
