Shared Cases and a common Credit pool give team members one documented workflow.
Team members work from shared Cases and can retain relevant findings as bookmarks.
Team members draw from a common Credit pool controlled by the team leader.
Account settings include two-step verification, and Case bookmarks can use custom password protection.
Team members can work from shared Cases and draw on the common Credit pool. The team leader controls that pool, while each search continues to show its Credit cost before it is run.
The team leader controls a common Credit pool for team searches. Each search option shows its Credit cost before it is run.
Credit costs can be free, fixed or dynamic because third-party data-source costs vary.
The documented team model combines shared Cases with a common Credit pool controlled by the team leader.
Shared Cases give team members a common place for retained searches and relevant bookmarks. Results remain leads that should be corroborated.

Working solo? Everything here scales down to a team of one — and up when you're ready.
Choose how search history is handled and use the available account and Case controls.
Forensic Mode stores search history in the selected Case. Private mode does not store that search history.
A custom Case password derives a private key that encrypts that Case's bookmarks on the UserSearch server.
UserSearch does not hold the custom Case password. If it is lost, it cannot be recovered.

Essential information about the documented platform workflow and controls.
We've been doing this for around 15 years, and the biggest difference is that everything lives in one place. Instead of juggling dozens of separate tools and logins, you get 17 types of search and over 100 built-in modules under a single account — and because we buy data access in bulk, you get better rates than you'd get going to each source directly.
Either works. Plenty of people use UserSearch solo, and if you work with a team you can add shared Cases and a single Credit pool that the team lead manages — so everyone draws from the same balance and can see each other's saved work.
Discretion is built in. You can switch on two-step verification, and you choose how much is kept: Forensic Mode saves your search history to a Case for a clear record, while Private mode keeps no history at all. If you set a password on a Case, that password encrypts its bookmarks — and we never see it, so it's genuinely private. Just don't lose it, because we can't recover it. Quite a lot. You get around 100 modules spread across 17 search types — covering usernames, email, phone, people, companies, cyber, products, messaging apps, forums, images, cryptocurrency, vehicles, threat intelligence, wireless devices, websites, breach exposure and court records — each drawing on its own set of professional data sources.
It depends on the source — every data provider refreshes on its own schedule, so there's no single 'last updated' stamp across everything. We always show you where each result came from, so for anything time-sensitive, it's worth checking the source and confirming it before you rely on it.
Yes. You can export your current results, and when you're ready to write things up, Reports are built from the bookmarks you've saved to a Case (they come out as .xlsx files). On a team account, Cases are shared, so a colleague can pick up or review your work without you having to hand anything over.
That's exactly who it's built for — professional investigators, cybersecurity and threat teams, AML and fraud analysts, law enforcement, and anyone running OPSEC checks on their own footprint. Just keep in mind that what you get back are leads: strong starting points that are always worth corroborating before you act on them.
