Company modules & options
The Corporate Intelligence search type exposes ten Modules in the captured build. Each Module is a tile in the grid that runs one search against a single named data source — the external register or third party that holds the data. Selection is single-select: the active tile carries a coral-orange border and title, and each tile names the search it runs plus, in brackets, its data source (for example (Data: OpenCorporates)).
For the composer flow that surrounds these Modules, see Company search: overview; for reading what comes back, see Reading Company results.

Section titled “The ten Modules”The input each Module takes is observed only for Company Search (Data: OpenCorporates); for the others it is inferred from the Module name and marked as such.

The lead Module: Company Search (Data: OpenCorporates)
Section titled “The lead Module: Company Search (Data: OpenCorporates)”Company Search (Data: OpenCorporates) is the tile selected in the captured baseline. It returns company registration details, directors, filings, and corporate structure from OpenCorporates.
- Description panel: “Search for company information using OpenCorporates. Returns registration details, directors, filings, and corporate structure.” The tile also carries the greyed sub-label “OpenCorporates company data”.
- Input: a field labelled Company Name with the placeholder
e.g. Apple Inc. - Filters: a Jurisdiction dropdown (set to All jurisdictions in the captured state) narrows the search to one register, and an Exclude inactive checkbox drops dissolved or struck-off entities.
- Cost: the Cost per search line beneath the input reads $0.50.
Companies and directors
Section titled “Companies and directors”- Company Search (Data: OpenCorporates) and Director Search (Data: OpenCorporates) query the OpenCorporates aggregate register, which spans many jurisdictions.
- Company Search (Data: CompaniesHouse - UK) and Officer Search (Data: CompaniesHouse - UK) query the UK statutory register directly through Companies House (UK). Use these when your subject is a UK-registered entity or officer.
Sanctions and watchlists
Section titled “Sanctions and watchlists”- Person Sanctions (Data: OpenSanctions) matches an individual against consolidated sanctions and watchlist data.
- Company Sanctions (Data: OpenSanctions) does the same for a company.
Both run against OpenSanctions.
Identifiers, filings, and other registers
Section titled “Identifiers, filings, and other registers”- LEI Search (Data: GLEIF) returns Legal Entity Identifier records from GLEIF.
- Address Enquiry (Data: OpenCorporates) finds company records tied to a registered address.
- Trademark Search (Data: OpenCorporates) returns trademark records.
- SEC Full-Text Search (Data: SEC - USA) runs a full-text search over US Securities and Exchange Commission filings.
No OneScan or Choose Data Source
Section titled “No OneScan or Choose Data Source”Per-tile controls
Section titled “Per-tile controls”Each Module tile carries a circular ”?” help icon that opens Module-specific help.
Observed in a later capture (2026-07-10)
Section titled “Observed in a later capture (2026-07-10)”The table above records the ten Modules from the baseline grid capture, where only the lead Module’s cost was on screen. A later capture (2026-07-10) — the populated Company Search (Data: CompaniesHouse - UK) run shown on Reading Company results — directly observed two of the Companies House (UK) Modules that the baseline could only list from the grid, adding detail the baseline lacked:
- Company Search (Data: CompaniesHouse - UK) — observed selected and populated, running a company-name query against the UK register and returning results. Its tile showed Cost per search: $0.10, refining the “Not captured” cost recorded for it in the table above.
- Officer Search (Data: CompaniesHouse - UK) — observed present in the same grid alongside it, but not selected, so its Cost per search was not shown and remains uncaptured.
Both query the UK statutory register directly through Companies House (UK). The same 2026-07-10 grid still shows the full Corporate Module set recorded in the table above; this note adds to that baseline rather than replacing it — the other Modules’ costs and inputs remain as recorded there.
