Spamhaus integration

Spamhaus is an integrated data source (a Module) in UserSearch. It supplies IP and domain reputation intelligence together with malware-URL blocklists, letting you check whether an address, domain, or URL is associated with spam, malware distribution, or other malicious activity as part of a Threat search.

Spamhaus maintains widely used reputation and blocklist data covering IP addresses, domains, and URLs. In UserSearch, this data is surfaced through the Spamhaus Module so you can look up an indicator and see how Spamhaus classifies it, without leaving your search.

Spamhaus is a specific integrated third party. It is one data source among the Modules UserSearch queries on your behalf.

Spamhaus contributes reputation and blocklisting signals for the indicator you look up.

Spamhaus powers the Threat search type. When you run a Threat search on a supported indicator, the Spamhaus Module is one of the data sources you can query.

Spamhaus may also be included when you run OneScan, the Module that queries several data sources at once, in a search type where Spamhaus is available.

  1. Start a Threat search.
  2. Enter your indicator (for example an IP address or domain).
  3. In the data-source selection, choose the Spamhaus Module — or select OneScan to include Spamhaus alongside other data sources in a single run.
  4. Review the Spamhaus results, attributed to the Spamhaus data source, in your Search Results.
